Dual Magneto Clamps, “Handcuffs”

 Used to tie the magnetos together for  additional support.

These magneto ‘hand cuffs’ are just the thing to keep your duel magnetos from moving around during the launch, or in tire shake situation.  Machined from billet aluminum, polished and anodized royal purple, supplied with stainless Allen cap screws, for clamping to the magnetos.  Special H/D Teflon lined rod ends have 1/4-28 shafts, but only #10 spherical ends.  Billet aluminum turn buckles are anodized blue. High strength 10/32 Allen head cap screws and washers complete the assembly.  These magneto clamps allow both magnetos to turn together when using an air cylinder, advance / retard magneto drive.

Single Magneto Pull Switch

A professional way to start the engine.

After seeing all of the different ways Alligator clips with too small of a gage wire that were being used to start alcohol, and nitro motors, I then started producing a superior way.  My magneto pull switch uses the standard ‘banana plugs’, which are rated for 1000 volts.  The housing and cover are machined from black dielectric nylon.  10ga MTW wire is used for its flexibility and insulation properties.  Top quality non-insulated ring terminal ends are used, and supplied.  red / black 24″ wire leads are supplied for the fit, then cut excess off and install the #10 terminals to attach to the coil post connections. Gold plated banana plugs have a #10 solid crossover jumper to insure a proper connection.  A knotted lanyard is added to keep your fingers away from the connections, and to assist in ‘pulling’ the plug to start the engine.  Comes with stainless truss head screws, washers and nuts for mounting in your place of choice.

Automan Cable Operated Magneto Kill Switch

A better solution to air or solenoid kill switches.

This cable operated kill switch places the ‘kill button’ in the cockpit for driver activation, and the actual grounding switches near the coils.  No more long runs of wire that can be chaffed by body panels.  No more air operated kill switches that do not work without air pressure, or that can be stuck in the ‘grounded position’.  The solenoid type of kill switch requires electrical power to allow the engine to run, so battery, wires, stitches, and connections can cause issues.  This cable operated kill switch works every time it is used.  The nomenclature plate at the big red button in the cockpit says ‘pull to start’……..’push to stop’.  Comes with a 8 foot Teflon lined control cable for smooth operation.  The switch is a ‘maintained switch”, this means if on or off, each position is ‘maintained’, until manually changed.  Optional added switch allows all battery powered devices to be turned on and off with the engine.  This eliminates extra switches that may be not turned on for the run, or off after the run, causing unnecessary battery drain.  Comes pre wired with 24″ 10ga MTW wires and premium un-insulated ring terminals.

Normally Open Switch

 Air Operated Switch uses Gold Plated contacts for reduced Internal Resistance.

This Blue anodized switch is a normally open switch that closes when the set pressure is reached.  Any pressure can be delivered, from 5 psi, up to 250 psi.  You must specify the rising, or falling pressure you require when ordering.  1/8 male pipe thread connection on the 1″ hex aluminum body.  8-32 slotted screws and locking ‘star washers’ are supplied.  Weighs 28 grams, (1 ounce).

Automan Pressure Switch Manifold

Switch Manifold to mount  up to 5 Pressure switches on your racecar.

This billet aluminum manifold is used to mount up to 5 pressure switches, or cut apart to mount a lesser number.  #10 drilled holes between each 1/8 female port facilitates the mounting with #10 fasteners.  10-32 female inlet ports allow air line fittings to deliver the air pressure to the pressure switch.  Anodized Jet Black.

Stainless Truss Head Screw Kit for MSD Coils

Improves all coil connections, and eliminates the sharp ends of the set screws.

The standard MSD Pro coils use a long set screw, lock washer and nut, to allow the end user to adjust for how many connections are required.  This kit has all of the different needed length truss head screws to accommodate any number of terminals per post.  Included are the dog bone connectors to eliminate the wired MSD jumper.  Belleville washers are included to provide constant and proper tension to the terminal stack on each post  Enough to apply to two coils.
